I'd be willing to bet that 90% of eBay sellers have had their blood pressure elevated by 10 or more points simply by having to deal with eBay support folks. I've been posting a "BLOG" related to my upcoming auctions in my eBay My World page for several months. All of a sudden, the BLOG part of the page disappears. The BLOG is still there if one goes to http://blogs.ebay.com/fil-am-sellers

However, by clicking on our USERID at the top of the My EBAY page or any one of our current auctions, it is gone. I tried it on my PC and my wife's. Same result. I have changed nothing on my PC, but the idiots at eBay tell me it is my pop-up blocker (I don't have one), or it is my anti-spyware software, or it is my blah-blah-blah. I guess this software, on its own, just decided to stop showing the BLOG part of My World.

Would one of you kind folks out there please take a peek from YOUR computer and see if the BLOG appears. Here is a current auction we have running: 230174837243 - if you can go to that auction, then click on our userid and see if the BLOG shows, I'd certainly appreciate it. What is supposed to be in that My World is FEEDBACK, BLOG, STORE, and LISTINGS.

Thanks, y'all!

Also - if it DOES happen to show the BLOG, try it s second time. I have seen it display the BLOG, only to loose it five minutes later. Tnx again!

Sure...

All I see is Feedback then Listings... No Blog and no Store either for that matter... Just shows partial feedback with the option to see all at the bottom and then Listings again with the option to see all at the bottom...

That's it... I also have no pop up blockers, spy ware crap or the like kind of programs that would be blocking it from appearing.

Jeeze, don't tell those eBay support people - they'll say something is wrong with YOUR computer, too!!! http://www.buildaforum.com/inkforums/img/smilies/grin.gif

Hmmm... no Store? Not on the far left column?

Oh, yes... in the far left... I was assuming that you meant it should be listed down the main page like the rest of the listed stuff... Sorry! http://www.buildaforum.com/inkforums/img/smilies/wink.gif

http://www.buildaforum.com/inkforums/img/smilies/lol.gif nah, they'd probably tell me that you don't have a BLOG enabled on your page and that's why I don't see it! HA!

They're good for not knowing anything about what they're supposed to know! Speak to 5 different reps and you'll likely get 5 different answers! It drives me bonkers so I try not to talk to them unless I absolutely HAVE to! http://www.buildaforum.com/inkforums/img/smilies/lol.gif Having worked in customer support for a computer based program before, I honestly can't even understand the level of ignorance they have about the software that they work with. My previous employer wouldn't have tolerated that for one minute... of course maybe that was his downfall... he's out of business and ebay just keeps makin' money! http://www.buildaforum.com/inkforums/img/smilies/shame.gif

Yeah, I absolutely hate having to ask them to look into a problem. I usually spend several hours trouble-shooting it myself before I try their "support". I worked in the IT industry for 38 years and learned a lot about hardware and software debugging. These boneheads simply follow a checklist of questions to ask the customer, instead of actually having to "think" on their own. Maybe that was 20 points on the blood pressure!

Hi J! Nice Me page!

Hi Merry - thanks! That confirms what I was quite certain of - it isn't something wrong at my end.

Looks like they figured it out. I've added stuff to the BLOG and displayed it several times - still shows up. I guess my snotty reply to them about it being THEIR problem caught someone's attention. http://www.buildaforum.com/inkforums/img/smilies/mad.gif

Thanks for your help proving my point to them!!!http://www.buildaforum.com/inkforums/img/smilies/up.gif
