Anybody play dominoes? Need info. for a listing :)

I have an old set of wooden dominoes. There are 96 in the set. Does this seem right? The wooden box is full, and they all fit in there neatly, but I know diddley about them and wanted to check with someone who knows about them.

Also, is it customary to have "blank" dominoes, that have no designs or dots (that is, solid black, with no dots and no engravings)?

Any help appreciated!

Not sure where 96 comes in.

Arrange what you have like I have here and see if there's some duplication.

And yes, blanks are zeros.
