Using the Auctiva to inkFrog importer and template remover for live eBay listings
This tutorial will cover the simple steps of using the first phase of our 3rd party import utility. Our first release will currently import your live eBay listings into the inkFrog system as saved listings. This current version does not support Sold/Unsold listings nor live eBay listings. We will be adding support for these types of listings in the near future. Please check this page regularly for updates.
Step 1: Access your Live eBay Listings
To access your live eBay listings, click on the Listings tab from the main menu. Then click on the eBay Listings tab from the menu on the left to expand the view. Click on "Live" to obtain a list your live listings.

Step 2: Select the live listings you wish to import
Choose the listings you wish to import by checking the box next to each item or the select all box at the top of the listings. Once you have completed this, choose "Import to Library" from the options menu.

Step 3: Select Auctiva converter and choose a Library folder.
If you are importing your items from Auctiva, choose the "Convert Auctiva Listing" option. This option will automatically convert all of your product images into the inkFrog system and convert the URL's. You may also choose which library folder you wish to import your selected listings into.

Step 4: Confirm and start importing!
Once you have chosen your library folder and Auctiva Converter option, click the "Import" button. Depending on the amount of items selected, the time to process can vary.

You can now view your imported listings!
Once the import has completed, your listings are now imported into the inkFrog system and we have converted all of your saved images. If your images don't immediately show up, they make take a few minutes while we run some back-end processes to save them. You can now edit your saved listings directly by simply clicking on the saved listing to load the edit screen. All of your eBay listing preferences were automatically saved for each individual listing.
You can also resubmit your listings from the library and submit new listings here - They will have the updated image URL's.

What to do next?
Next you will need to add a tempalate to your listing in order to make it look right. To do this in bulk mode, you can create a global. Go to the 'globals' tab, click on the 'template' global on the
left menu and make a new global template rule. Then go to your listings in your library (listings-->library section), checkmark your items and choose the options-->apply global and apply this global. This will bulk update your listings to use this new
template.
If you need more advanced editing, you can do this in single edit mode.
Click on the 'title' of the listing in your library to bring up 'edit' mode of this listing. Then scroll down
and you can use the WYSIWYG editor to modify anything you wish in the text that got imported. Finally, you can select a new template using our template selector and launch the listing.

Can I strip out and update the template for my listings that are live on eBay right now?
No, you can only import these listings into our system, then input a new template, and then launch it as a new listing. We tried to create an 'updater' that would update your live listings, however there
were some issues with this and we decided not to release it.
Can I bulk update my template to the items I imported into the library section?
Yes, we now have a Global for templates. Go to the 'globals' tab in your inkFrog account, click on the 'template' global on the
left menu and make a new global template rule. Then go to your listings in your library (listings-->library section), checkmark your items and choose the options-->apply global and apply this global. This will bulk update your listings to use this new
template.
I already converted my listings without stripping the template. Should I redo it?
Yes, if you want to strip out your templates, make sure you reconvert your listings by checkmarking both options when you import (Auctiva convert and template remove options). This will make sure your
images get saved inside your listing when you import it and only the template will get stripped.
Will my images get saved with my listing if i import and remove the template?
Yes, as long as you also checkmark the 'Auctiva Copy/Convert' checkbox along with the 'template remover' checkbox and it will import the images into your listing.
I've already converted my listings, Can I just strip the template now from the Library?
Yes, you can strip the templates out in bulk directly from your listing library. See the screenshot below:
