How can I convert/update my live and unsold Auctiva listings to inkFrog?
Go through each step of the import process using the import instructions page.
Will all my images really get transferred over?
Yes, if you do each step of our importer, our system will transfer the images for each of those listings into your inkFrog account under a folder called 'auctiva' in your 'images' section. We will also update the URL's on your listings to use us instead of Auctiva! This means
the images will be loading from us and not Auctiva. Note, we can't get the images for listings that eBay doesn't allow us to revise and we cannot get your images for saved listings you have inside of Auctiva. We can only copy and update live listings that are eligable for revise and unsold listings.
Can I strip out and update the template for my listings that are live on eBay right now?
No, you can only import these listings into our system, then input a new template, and then launch it as a new listing. We tried to create an 'updater' that would update your live listings, however there
were some issues with this and we decided not to release it. If you would like to learn some great ways to remove an auctiva template manually from a live listing, see this video
Can I bulk update my template to the items I imported into the library section?
Yes, we now have a Global for templates. Go to the 'globals' tab in your inkFrog account, click on the 'template' global on the
left menu and make a new global template rule. Then go to your listings in your library (listings-->library section), checkmark your items and choose the options-->apply global and apply this global. This will bulk update your listings to use this new
template.
I already converted my listings without stripping the template. Should I redo it?
Yes, if you want to strip out your templates, make sure you reconvert your listings by checkmarking both options when you import (Auctiva convert and template remove options). This will make sure your
images get saved inside your listing when you import it and only the template will get stripped.
Will my images get saved with my listing if i import and remove the template?
Yes, as long as you also checkmark the 'Auctiva Copy/Convert' checkbox along with the 'template remover' checkbox and it will import the images into your listing.
I've already converted my listings, Can I just strip the template now from the Library?
Yes, you can strip the templates out in bulk directly from your listing library. See the screenshot below:
Will this option also strip out my template?
No, if you want to import and strip out your template, there is one more checkbox on the import page. You can see full instructions for that at here
Will this update my listings that are on eBay right now?
No, this will not update your live listings. It will only import your listings to the library so you can launch new items from there. To update your live listings, see this tutorial.
What if I want to strip out my template too?
You can try stripping out the template in bulk using our template stripper in the library section, or you can convert and strip your item by reimporting it.

How do I update my live listings?
To update your live listings, go to this step: here
I've already converted my listings, Can I just strip the template now from the Library?
Yes, you can strip the templates out in bulk directly from your listing library. See the screenshot below:
What exactly does this option do?
What this option will do is revise your live listings on eBay (in bulk), copy the images to our servers, and 'update' the image URL's to use our servers instead of Auctivas. This means your images
will be loading from us and not Auctiva! This option will NOT strip out your Auctiva Template and we are unsure what if you can use them or not. We recommend letting these listings run their course, and launch new listings using our templates.
Will this strip out my Auctiva template on eBay too?
No, unfortunately this will not strip out the template on your live listings. We had an option for this, however not all listings turned out like we liked and we decided to not release this. What you can do is go into revise mode on these listings, try removing all the html
from the description section, and inputting a new template from our system. You can do this directly from inside inkFrog by simply clicking on the title of the listing (this brings up revise mode). One great thing that can help you with this is using the WYSIWYG button on our description section.
Here is a great video that can help: see video
Is this all I need to do and I can cancel my Auctiva service?
This is a difficult question to answer. In theory you can cancel your account after you go through each step of our importer. The import options we offer you are a great help and greatly help you
cut down on the time it would take you to manually import your listings to us. However, they are not perfect, and can not get all your listings and can not get your saved Auctiva listings. We recommend all new listings you create
be brand new and launched from our system.
Can I get all my saved (not live or unsold) listings on Auctiva converted to inkFrog?
Unfortuantely we can only import your 'live' and 'unsold' listings into our system. We cannot get your Auctiva saved listings.
How can I remove the Auctiva template on a live listing?
The only way to do this is by doing it manually. You can click on the title in our system to bring up 'revise' mode and use our WYSIWYG editor on the description to try and strip the Auctiva temploate out (take the html out and just grab your description text). You can then select a new template from our system.
Are there more steps you would recommend doing?
We recommend going through each step of our import process. You can see each step here: here. We also recommend that all of your new listings
be launched through inkFrog either from your library or from newly created listings. If you are interested in some help revising your templates out, we have people who can help for a small fee. Contact heather@inkfrog.com to learn more.
Some of my items errored and didn't update, what can I do?
Unfortunately not all of your listings are allowed to be revised on eBay and we cannot update these. The best thing to do in these cases is to end these listings and recreate and relaunch them through our system.
